How's life? I think I asked that last time, but I truly care. I hope I can make your day a little brighter with my posts.
Anyway, I finished Of Poseidon on the way to a track meet, and can we say mixed feelings? Ridiculous. Basically, this mermaid prince is looking for another of his kind that possesses the Gift. He believes she can talk to fish, but won't take action until he sees it. Then we have Emma, who's just tryna deal with a recent loss without harassment if the hot guy she met in Florida. When the silly prince, Galen, realizes Emma is who he's looking for, stuff happens. You're welcome.
So, I'll give you my most glaring issue first: someone freaking wrote in the freaking library book! Not only was there writing in a book that didn't suck, but it was a library book! Whyyyyyy? Second, girlfriend kept switching tenses. Like, Emma's part was in first tense and Galen's was in third. Like, why? That wasn't necessary, Anna. Also, Galen was kind of a dick for a good half of the book. I wanted to fight him. I also kind of hate Rayna. She's unnecessary and mean to Toraf for zero reason.
Other than that, the book was fine. I figures out what was wrong with Emma before anyone else did, but that's fine. Actually, all of the book was kind of predictable, but I still kind of liked it. It was alright. I may or may not finish the series, but I'll read the second one. We'll see. The book was alright, but it kind if annoyed me.
Sorry, I don't really have specific positives. Maybe all my negativity is leaking out. I'll try to plug it up.
*UPDATE CAUSE I DON'T FEEL LIKE DELETING*
I'm actually not going to finish this series. I took a look at the summary and I was like, mmmmmm nope. Not for me. Sorry not sorry. I'm not gonna put myself through that, even for you. 'Kay, bye, love you.
