Hey guys,
It's ya boi. Me. Guess who finished her finals? Me. Guess who probs got B's? Me. Guess who drew a picture of a bee on her Spanish final because she didn't know the Spanish word? Me. I'm free, I'm ready to party, and after this post, I'm sleeping for eight hours, because I deserve it.
I finished Defiance today, the third book in the Significance series, and I have to say, I wasn't really impressed. But I'm curious as to what happens next? Basically, squad's at reunification, which is a squad conglomeration "party" with way too many rules. Because Maggie is the Visionary, the Council is all, noooo, you can't do that. You can't do this. You can't do aaaaanything. It's very annoying. And so Maggie and her OG squad have to figure out all these issues that are basically being made up as they go. Also, freaking Marla is still here, being a dick. She's really just a pain in the bum-bum. No one asked for her.
So. The writing still isn't good. I read this books and want to just rewrite everything for Shelly. And yet, I want to see them get married and stuff. To be honest, I don't have a lot to say about this book. I might have found time to finish this book during hell week if I was motivated, but alas, Riverdale is so much better. The Council is unnecessarily corrupt. The Watson's are unnecessarily corrupt. And everyone is a sheep. It's annoying. But my ships have sailed. Honestly, if I thought I would find anything, I'd just find a summary of the next book. I have 10 books waiting for me at the library. I know that the next won't hold my interest, but I'll try. For continuities sake. Oh no. I just realized I'm reading subpar books again. *sigh* I just can't win. Nevertheless, I have 10 books. Those can't/won't be subpar. I'll be really upset if they are.
Thanks for hanging out with me. It's been nice. Also, you're welcome for not going off on a tangent about Riverdale. I'm rewatching season one before watching season two with my sister, and I won't even share my feelings with you. Because this is a book blog. And we follow the rules here. Bye, love you.
